Welcome Back 2018
Welcome to our final Health Update for the 2017-18′ school year! Hard to believe we will be attending graduation in one week for the graduating class of 2018! We wish them great success in their high school endeavors! Congratulations to all graduating student and parents!
As we wind down the school year, notices have been sent home regarding the pick-up of year end medication. Our last day of school is Thursday, June 14th. The Health Office will be open until such time for medication pick-up. Enclosed you will also find forms to be filled out for the next school year, 2018-19′. These can be filled out during the Summer and brought back with your childs’ medication in September.
Physicals for all grades are appreciated, as we like to keep current with the student’s health records and immunizations. Forms for all those students entering Grade 6 will receive another form to be filled out by the physician for the required Tdap and Menatra vaccines. For those students under 60 months, Influenza vaccines are also mandatory. Thank you parents for your cooperation.
As always, the best prevention of sharing illnesses is hand washing! All students’ who come into the Health Office wash their hands and we offer them water to maintain hydration for optimal health.
Thank you for helping us to keep the students’ healthy, so they may learn!
We all work as a team and look forward to keeping the students well, safe and secure. We want them to always feel they can come to us with anything as we are their advocates first and foremost. Please feel free to drop by the Health Office with any questions or concerns. You can now call the health office directly, just call the regular number and our extension is 236. (201) 487-8641, ext. 236 Nurse Kelly & I will be away for the Summer, but I will be in a few days to check on any incoming physicals or immunizations.
