RELIGION: Chapter 4 – “Our Conscience, Our Guide” The students will learn about conscience & the way it helps them make good choices and brings them closer to God & others. Chapter 5: The students will learn about the peace & unity that comes from receiving God’s forgiveness & love through the Sacrament of Penance & Reconciliation.

MATH: Chapter 2: The students will use their understanding of addition to write addition expressions with an unknown value, discover the properties of addition, & use rounding to estimate sums of multi-digit numbers. They will also find the solution to addition problems involving two or more addends & numbers in the thousands & millions, without regrouping. 2.1 – Mathematical Expressions. 2.2 – Addition Properties. 2.3 Estimate Sums. 2-4 Add Thousands. 2-5 Add Millions. 2-6 Three or More Addends.

Tuesday: Mathematical Expressions Test. Introduce 2.2. Explain Commutative, Identity & Associative Properties of Addition.
Wednesday: Complete pgs. 26 & 27 in Textbook
Thursday: Review class/homework. Complete pgs. 19 & 20 in workbook. Review for test tomorrow
