Forms to be filled out by parents depending on grade
Hello and welcome to computer class. My name is Mrs. Sanchez and I am delighted to teach you about Technology and robotics this year. The grades 4th-through 8th will work with Google Classroom. We are going to be working on fun projects this year, that will help develop and improve your computer skills. We will also explore the internet and educational websites that will further develop your computer skills.
As your teacher, I want to ensure that each of you has a great learning environment. For this to be possible, I expect you to follow these rules:
|Rules for Pre-K 3 through 1st grade||Rules for 2nd grade to 8th grade|
During the first week of class, all students will receive a computer usage contract they must read, take home, sign, and return to class. This document is required for you to use the computers and technology in school.
Each homework assignment must be written down in your computer notebook. You can check the school ’s website on the teachers’ tab; click on my name; then you can click on computer subject for your homework assignments for the week. I update the computer’s class webpage on the weekends. Also for the grades 4th-8th, the students can check the tasks or projects on Google Classroom.
Late assignments or homework will be accepted three days after the day due, but will have a grade of 50%. A zero will be given to all homework or assignment not handed in after 3 days.
If the student is absent, a number of days the days given to make-up the work will equal those absent days.
Don’t feel shy to ask any questions. I love to help students in any way I can. If you need extra help, please meet with me after class.
Remember, when we work together, we learn together.
