Welcome students and parents to the 4th and 5th Grade Social Studies page!
Now that we are in a new year, we will be using Google Classroom for our writing assignments, quizzes, and announcements. Please check my page daily, as I will also be providing homework.
Homework and Objectives for the week of 03/18-03/22:
Note: Homework will be listed under the day that it is assigned, not the day that it is due. For example: If homework is listed under Tuesday, it was assigned on that Tuesday and is due on the next day, Wednesday. I aim not to assign student’s homework on Friday, but occasionally I may have to in order to stay on track.
Homework updates will be posted by 5 p.m.
All homework is to be done in complete sentences.
Introduction to Chapter 7! In this chapter, we will be learning of a new war… the Civil War. What is the Civil War? Why was it fought? Here, we will be learning of the many people who wanted to change the United States and their importance in New Jersey.

I will hold extra help depending on availability, every Friday morning from 7:30-7:50. Additional accommodations may be discussed, so feel free to e-mail me. If students have scheduling conflicts, please inform me and I may be able to shift my days around to better accommodate them. Those interested in extra help must sign up in a sheet I will provide.
